Harmonic Harbour is a free portfolio network for freelance audio professionals working across games, film, media, music and interactive experiences.

We welcome applications from composers, sound designers, technical sound designers, audio programmers, game-audio implementers, recording and mixing engineers, producers, voice actors, Foley artists and other audio specialists.

If accepted, you can receive a dedicated public Freelancer profile where you can showcase your work, experience, services and portfolio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We review every application individually. We generally look for applicants who:

Are at least 18 years old
Have a portfolio demonstrating their work
Can communicate professionally with clients
Provide accurate information about their skills and experience
Can deliver work to a professional standard
Own, or have permission to use, the portfolio material they submit
Do not present AI-generated work as their own original creative work

There is no strict minimum number of years of experience.
Portfolio quality, professionalism and suitability for the platform are more important.

CURRENT PLATFORM MODEL

Harmonic Harbour is currently operating as a portfolio-hosting and general promotional platform.

There is no standard fee simply for joining or maintaining your profile.

Harmonic Harbour does not currently charge Freelancers a work-finding commission or take a percentage of Freelancer earnings.

For the time being, Harmonic Harbour is not actively operating a managed Client-matching, shortlisting or paid introduction service.

Clients may browse public Freelancer profiles and use any professional contact details or external links that you choose to display.

Any resulting communication, negotiation, contract or payment takes place independently between you and the Client.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance onto Harmonic Harbour or guarantee future paid work.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Harmonic Harbour Privacy Policy and Freelancer Terms & Conditions.

The information you provide may be used to assess your application, create and manage your freelancer profile, contact you about relevant opportunities, and operate Harmonic Harbour in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal data will not be sold to third parties. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information such as bank details or your home address.
